Lake Catamount Touring Center is located about 9 miles south of downtown Steamboat Springs. From downtown take hwy 40 east approximately 4 mile to the intersection of hwy 131. Head south on hwy 131 for approximately 4.25 miles. Take a left onto RCR 18 and proceed about 1.25 miles. Turn left into the second entrance for Waters Edge trail and park in the long parking lot to your left. The Nordic Center is a short walk down to the edge of the lake.

Description: 

The Lake Catamount Touring Center is part of a private real estate development, Catamount Ranch and Club. The nordic trails are situated along Lake Catamount itself with many more miles rolling up and down through gentle hay meadows. Wide open views of Pleasant Valley and the surrounding area abound. This 3,200 private club graciously opens its doors to the public in the winter time only.  Please respect private property and obey all Nordic Center rules at all times.
